The Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Midwifery Education (CAMEd) will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 11:00-13:30 Eastern via ZOOM. Voting at the Annual Meeting is restricted to members who have renewed their membership for 2020-21. Non-members and observers are welcome to attend but will not have the right to vote. CAMEd’s annual Education Symposium will follow the Annual Meeting via ZOOM and is open to all for registration. October 13th from 14:30 pm to 17:05 pm Eastern. This meeting is being supported for simultaneous French-English translation. Registration fee of $20 for CAMEd members and $35 for non-members covers translation services. Clinical preceptors in midwifery education in Canada are invited to participate in a focus group discussion to provide perspectives on facilitators and barriers to their role.
Focus Group Information:
• Date and Time: Wednesday October 14, 2020 at 11:00 – 13:00 Eastern
• Duration: One to two hours
• Registration costs up to $25 CAD for CAMEd Symposium on Oct 13, 2020 will be provided
• Honorarium of $50.00 CAD will be provided
